125 years Eintracht Frankfurt

in just two weeks, we had the exciting challenge of creating a stunning projection at the Römer in Frankfurt to celebrate Eintracht Frankfurt’s 125th anniversary. this project allowed us to showcase the club’s history in a captivating and memorable way for both fans and visitors.

 

we took on the creative direction of the project, developing a concept that would highlight the most significant moments from Eintracht Frankfurt’s history. through motion design, we brought these moments to life, from the club’s early achievements in various sports to its more recent football triumphs. each scene was brought to life with dynamic animations that drew viewers into the club’s journey. additionally, we integrated the powerful lyrics of the club’s anthem, „Im Herzen von Europa,“ which emphasized the pride and passion that unites the fans and the team.

 

on the technical side, we handled the full implementation of the projection system using a d3-based workflow. this allowed us to perfectly map the projections to the unique architecture of the Römer square.

 

this projection was a spectacular showcase of 125 years Eintracht Frankfurt, by celebrating their history and bringing fans closer together and was filmed and then shared in over thousand social stories.
