in collaboration with artist Lisa Tegtmeier and Jazzunique, we developed an immersive and interactive experience that merged the worlds of illustration art and digital technology. our goal was to create a connection between the physical and virtual realms, using Lisa’s artwork as a catalyst for this fusion of art and virtual reality.
once again, we transformed Jazzunique’s showroom, „imprfct space,“ into a dynamic and engaging environment where visitors could experience Lisa’s art in a whole new way. various tracking technologies allow movements of visitors to be captured in real-time and transferred to 3D models in Unreal Engine 5, enabling them to slip into the role of the designed characters and control them as 3D avatars. besides the large LED installation, visitors can take selfies in virtual reality on a separate screen. they are interpreted by face tracking data from the respective facial features as well as the body pose and transferred onto various characters of Lisa Tegtmeier’s art.
the result was a unique and memorable exhibit that merged the analog and digital in a way that was both thought-provoking and aesthetically pleasing. by bringing Lisa’s artwork to life and making it accessible to all, we were able to create a truly immersive and interactive experience that resonated with visitors.
